Year-End Bootcamp · Secondary · Math
The jump between secondary levels is steep, and the gaps left from this year tend to compound in the next. The bootcamp uses the year-end holidays to fix what is shaky and preview what is coming.
An intensive 2-day bootcamp that bridges secondary levels: Day 1 closes the gaps from the year just finished, Day 2 previews the next level with problem-solving drills and exam strategies. Two streams, S1 to S2 and S2 to S3, so your child starts the new year already ahead. It returns each year-end holiday, so there is always a next one.

Latest year-end run · concluded
The latest Headstart bootcamp has finished. The bootcamp returns every year-end holiday, so the next run is over the coming December break. A bridge between levels, not a recap
The idea
Most holiday programmes review the year that just ended. This one closes those gaps and then walks your child into the next level before term begins.
Day 1 is concept-first revision of the foundational topics from this year, the ones the next level quietly assumes your child has mastered. Day 2 previews the topics that open the new year, with structured practice and the exam strategies that travel with them. By January, your child is not catching up, they are building on a head start.
Fix the foundational gaps from the year just finished.
Meet next year's core topics before term starts.
A post-camp report within one week, gaps named.
The two streams
Both streams run the same two-day shape: Day 1 closes the gaps from this year, Day 2 previews the next. Pick a transition to see what each day covers.
For students moving from Secondary 1 into Secondary 2. Day 1 fixes the foundational S1 topics that S2 builds on; Day 2 previews the early S2 work.
Day 1 · Close the gaps
Concept-first revision of the S1 essentials, including algebra and algebraic manipulation, linear equations, ratio and proportion. Structured practice rebuilds the fluency S2 quietly assumes.
Day 2 · Preview ahead
An early look at the topics that open S2, with problem-solving drills and exam strategies. Your child meets the new material once before school does, so term one feels like revision rather than a first encounter.
For students moving from Secondary 2 into Secondary 3, where O-Level and IP content begins. Day 1 secures the S2 foundations; Day 2 previews the bridge into upper-secondary work.
Day 1 · Close the gaps
Concept-first revision of the S2 essentials, including quadratic expressions and equations, direct and inverse proportion, and algebraic fluency. These are the skills S3 leans on from week one.
Day 2 · Preview ahead
A preview of where S3 begins, including the early bridge into A-Math and O-Level content, with problem-solving drills and exam strategies. Your child sees how upper-secondary work is structured before the term starts.
Secondary sessions are concept-first revision with structured practice. Topic coverage follows the standard MOE secondary syllabus and is confirmed when the next run opens.
The two days
Two intensive days, with an optional pre-camp diagnostic before they start and a written report within a week after. Whichever stream your child is in, the shape is the same.
An optional pre-camp diagnostic helps the tutor see where your child stands going in, so Day 1 spends its time on the gaps that actually matter rather than ground already secure.
Concept-first revision of the foundational topics from the year just finished, with structured practice. The aim is to close the gaps the next level assumes are already closed.
A preview of the next level's core topics, paired with problem-solving drills and exam strategies. Your child meets the new material in a structured, unhurried way before term begins.
After the bootcamp, you receive a post-camp report within one week that names where your child stands and where to focus next. Nothing fancy, just a clear bridge into the new year.

Built on the MOE secondary syllabus, so it maps to what your child has covered, whatever their background.
Same small caps as our weekly classes, so the tutor can track every student in the room.

Why we built it this way
"A new level should feel like a step up, not a cliff."
That is the whole point of the bootcamp. Close the gaps from the year just finished, preview the year ahead, and your child starts in January building rather than scrambling.
Many bootcamp families go on to join our weekly programme after seeing their child's post-camp report. Based on GPA's internal tracking of recent cohorts; individual results vary.
