(a) Ans: 40

15/100 × $61.20 = $9.18
6 tarts (at discounted price) → $9.18
1 tart (at discounted price) → $9.18 ÷ 6 = $1.53
No. of egg tarts (Julie) → $61.20 ÷ $1.53 = 40

(b) Ans: $1.80

85% of original price → $1.53
100% of original price → $1.53/85 × 100 = $1.80
