(a) Ans: 36

Height of box → 8L ÷ 2 = 4L
2 L = 3S
4L = 6S
No. of small cubes → 6 × 6 = 36

(b) Ans: 4cm

vol. of 36 small cubes → 4032cm^3 × 4/7 = 2304cm^3
vol. of 1 small cube → 2304cm^3 ÷ 36 = 64cm^3
length of 1 edge → ∛64cm^3 = 4cm
